Physician House Calls for EMC Patients
EMC’s concierge model allows for a more flexible and personal approach to care.
When appropriate, house calls may be available for members who need physician care outside the office setting.
This service reflects EMC’s commitment to meeting patients where they are, while keeping care connected to the physician-patient relationship.
Care Beyond the Office
Some health situations are better understood in context. For certain patients and certain concerns, a house call can provide meaningful support when coming into the office is difficult or not the best option.
House calls are considered based on medical need, location, physician availability, and the nature of the concern.
When a House Call May Be Considered
Mobility limitations
Complex health situations that benefit from added context
Recovery after illness, surgery, or hospitalization
End-of-life or comfort-focused care planning
Circumstances where an office visit is unusually difficult
Personal Care, Thoughtfully Used
House calls are not a replacement for emergency care, hospital care, or every office visit. They are one part of EMC’s broader commitment to access, flexibility, and individualized care. Unlike other concierge or direct primary care practices, EMC patients get unlimited house calls included in their membership, as needed.
A More Personal Approach to Primary Care
EMC members benefit from a care model designed around access, continuity, and trust.
